Designed in the USA · Crafted in Turkey
Made for the way you actually cook
Granite non-stick, stainless steel and hand-finished glassware — built to be used hard every day, and to still look right when the food reaches the table.
Our craft
Designed in the USA. Crafted in Turkey.
Two places, each doing the part it does best. That split is not a compromise we're explaining away — it is the reason these pieces feel the way they do in your hand.
America sets the specification
Every Lanora piece starts as a drawing here, against the way people actually cook in this country. Bases flat enough for a glass cooktop and magnetic enough for induction. Handles angled for a full pot, not an empty one. Sizes that match American recipes instead of being converted into them.
- Specified for gas, electric, ceramic and induction
- Handle geometry tested loaded, not empty
- Colourways chosen for American kitchens and tables
- Every model signed off before it goes into production
Turkey knows how to build it
Our cookware is pressed, coated and cured in Turkish workshops, and our tea glass comes from the same country's glasshouses. This isn't a cost decision. Turkey has been forming metal and blowing tea glasses for generations, and the evenness of a coating or the finish on a rim is exactly the kind of thing that only comes from that much practice.
- Multi-coat mineral non-stick, applied and cured in-house
- Rims finished by hand, not just machine-cut
- Tea glassware from a centuries-old glassmaking tradition
- Every batch checked before it leaves the floor

Construction
Five layers between the flame and your food
A pan is only as good as what it is built from. This is exactly what sits under the surface of a Lanora granite pan — tap any layer to see what it does.
Pan wall, shown in cross-section
-
The surface your food actually touches. Reinforced with mineral particles so it stands up to daily use far better than a single-coat finish, and cured in three passes rather than one.
-
The layer nobody sees and everybody notices the absence of. It keys the non-stick into the metal underneath, which is what stops a coating lifting at the edges after a year of dishwashing.
-
The thick part. Aluminium moves heat quickly and evenly, and casting it heavy is what keeps the base flat instead of warping the first time it meets a hot burner.
-
Sits under the body and spreads heat sideways before it reaches your food, so you don't get a scorched ring exactly where the burner sits.
-
A magnetic stainless plate bonded to the bottom. It's the reason the same pan works on gas, electric, ceramic and induction without an adapter.
What we leave out
Non-stick earned a bad reputation because of what used to go into it. These are the things that do not go into ours.
- PFOA
- Lead
- Cadmium
- BPA
The tea & coffee ritual
The hour after dinner is the one people remember
Plates get cleared, the conversation keeps going, and somebody puts the kettle on. Lanora tea glasses and mirra cups are made for that hour — small, warm, and worth carrying back to the table.
-
Brew it strong, then cut it
Turkish tea is brewed concentrated in the top pot and diluted from the bottom. Everyone gets the strength they want out of the same pot.
-
Pour to the waist, not the rim
Fill the tulip glass to its narrow point. It keeps the tea hot longer and leaves you somewhere cool to hold.
-
Saucer under, spoon beside
The saucer isn't decoration — the glass gets hot. The spoon rests on the saucer once you've stirred, not in the glass.
-
Small cups, second rounds
Nobody stops at one. That's the whole point of a six-glass set: the second pour is where the evening actually happens.

A note from us
We started Lanora because the good cookware had gotten expensive and the affordable cookware had gotten disposable. So we went to the places that still make this properly, and we wrote the specifications ourselves — for the way people cook here. What comes back is cookware we are happy to put our name on, at a price that isn't an argument.
